Adopt a China Doll Maltese
Each China Doll Maltese Baby has made an important contribution to my Maltese breeding program. When the time comes for them to retire, it is very important to me that they go to a loving home.
It takes patience and skill to introduce any adult dog, even a Maltese dog, into a home with other adult dogs. It can be a stressful process for the new owner and the MALTESE. My experience has been that, even starting with the best intentions, too many people find that they do not have the skills and patience for a successful introduction. They choose to return the MALTESE without even beginning to give it the time necessary to adjust.

One of my responsibilities to my Maltese dogs is to protect them from unnecessary risk. A retired Maltese dog that is adopted out, returned and then placed in another home is a dog that is stressed and confused. This scenario is not acceptable to me.
Therefore, to ease their transition, and to ensure that I am giving my adults every possible chance to have their first new home be their forever home, I place my adults exclusively into homes where they will be the only adult DOG. I will place them in a home that has an existing puppy.
If you would like an adult and you can offer a quality, loving environment then I may have the perfect match. All my adopted Maltese use potty pads, have impeccable habits, and are in perfect health. Most of my RETIRED MALTESE are show quality.
