Thank you for visiting my website. Please feel free to browse around and sign my guestbook.
I was born and raised in Southern California, and have lived in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix for the past 14 years.
I first became involved with raising dogs when I did Sheltie rescue for six years in [Burbank Ca., USA]. I have always thought Shelties are a wonderful breed, but I really fell in love when I met Duke. He came to me and as a rescue, and I kept him as a cherished companion for 13 years. When Duke went to doggie heaven [3 years], it was very difficult for me to lose him.
Thankfully when she passed, I had just recently brought a new dog into my home: a lovely little Maltese named China Doll. As I dealt with my sadness over losing my Duke, it became very apparent what a compassionate breed the Maltese is. My China Doll gave me so much love; it was as if she knew how much I was hurting. It was then that I decided I wanted to learn as much I could about this precious breed. I started going to Maltese shows and meeting other Maltese lovers, and that is when I knew that I would like to help introduce others to this exceptional breed.
I purchased "the love of my life" China Doll from Doug Larcher, and I will always be grateful to him for bringing this wonderful companion into my life. She is the namesake of my website, and she brings me more love than I can express. China Doll became a Champion in 2005 along with my boy Charmer, who I purchased from Carolyn Dahl.
I know showing and breeding is not for everyone, but it is a labor of love that I enjoy immensely. It is my goal to breed the best I can, and to help maintain the wonderful characteristics of the breed.
I do have dogs for sale from time to time that need to go to good homes. If you are interested in adopting a new puppy or a retired dog, please feel free to e-mail me anytime.
